Hello, I’m Thembi, welcome to my kitchen! I’ve spent years baking and creating in several forms. I work a “9-5” as a Clinical Research Professional that keeps me pretty busy, but I still need my creative release. In the past I’ve used my baking and/or creative talents in customer based businesses. And I came to realize, that isn’t fun for me, at all. I love to bake. I love to get creative with food combinations. But I don’t like having to package things, delivering or shipping, or making the same things over and over. So that’s how we ended up here. With this blog I have the freedom to let my creative juices flow! My plan is to focus on the sweeter side of the kitchen- cakes, cupcakes, a few other treats here and there. I’m completely self taught, so I’m mostly just trying things. I want to take some the mystery out of baking to make it enjoyable for all. So if that’s your speed, I hope you stay for the journey!
